Practical Life

Young children enjoy mopping the floor, learning to operate a zipper, using tongs, opening a padlock; any "real" task will capture a preschoolers attention. They are motivated to master the world around them. They do not want to just pretend to cook, they want to actually make a snack they can eat.
Practical life activities are designed to guide young children towards mastery of many of the every day tasks they see around them. All while strengthening the child's motor skills, concentration, sense of order, confidence and independence.
